Ukrainians can buy additional insurance experience: how to do it and how much it costs

Changes in Voluntary Pension Contributions in Ukraine

Starting from 2024, the minimum amount of voluntary pension contributions in Ukraine has been adjusted. In order to add one full month to your insurance record, the voluntary contribution must now be at least equal to the minimum insurance contribution.

The minimum contribution required is 22% of the minimum wage. As of January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Ukraine stands at 7,100 UAH. This means that to count one month in your record, you need to pay 1,562 UAH monthly (7,100 UAH × 22% = 1,562 UAH).

With the expected increase in the minimum wage to 8,000 UAH from April 1, the voluntary pension contribution will also increase to 1,760 UAH (8,000 UAH × 22% = 1,760 UAH), as per the state budget for 2024.
