Tragic Car Accident in Lviv Region
According to the information of the main department of the National Police in Lviv region, the accident occurred on February 26 around 04:40 on the road «Ternopil-Lviv» near the village of Slovita in Lviv district.
Preliminary data indicates that the driver of the «VAZ 2109» car, a 21-year-old resident of one of the villages in Zolochiv district, lost control, veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a «Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313» minibus driven by a 41-year-old resident of Lviv.
«The driver of the car and his passenger, a 24-year-old resident of Zolochiv district, died at the scene as a result of injuries from the accident. Another passenger of the ‘VAZ 2109’, a 28-year-old resident of Kirovohrad region, sustained injuries and, despite efforts of the medics, died in the ambulance,» the report said.
