A four-year-old boy seriously injured in a road accident in Belgorod-Dniester
According to the police of the Odessa region, the driver of a BMW was driving on the road near the Dniester estuary and ran over a child who was riding a bicycle in a garage cooperative area.
The boy was hospitalized with multiple abrasions, head injuries, and a leg fracture. Medical examination confirmed that the driver was sober.
The police have opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The car has been sent to the impound lot. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
