Tragic Incidents Due to Swimming Bans
Despite the ban on swimming in southern regions, vacationers continue to hit the beaches, leading to unfortunate events. One such incident occurred in Mykolaiv, where a man drowned in the Buzky estuary while swimming on the beach in the Namiv microdistrict.
The police in Mykolaiv region reported that the man’s body was pulled out by other vacationers. Similarly, in the Odessa region, a 10-year-old boy tragically drowned in a pond in the Rozdilnyansky district, while his father was on the shore.
Both cases are currently under investigation, highlighting the importance of heeding swimming bans to prevent further tragedies.
