Russia Concentrates Forces near Ukrainian Border
Russia is concentrating its forces near the borders of Sumy region, as stated by Andriy Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Demchenko expressed concerns that the current forces are not enough to resist a potential breakthrough into the country and emphasized the importance of being prepared for any possible developments.
With over 560 kilometers of border to monitor, timely responses to provocations are challenging. Demchenko warned that Russia may attempt to create hotspots along the contact line to sow panic and fear among Ukrainians, even though their forces are currently insufficient to achieve strategic goals.
