Russian shelling in Kherson region: civilians wounded and humanitarian aid hub hit

Today, June 26, in the Kherson region, a 69-year-old resident of the village of Veselye was injured as a result of shelling by Russian forces. This was reported by the Kherson regional military-civil administration.

The man suffered explosive injuries and facial wounds. He is currently receiving necessary medical assistance.

In addition, two girls aged 12 and 15 were also injured as a result of the shelling. Furthermore, another man who was injured in the shelling of the town of Antonivka sought medical help.

On Wednesday, June 25, the Russian army attacked the Dniprovsky district of Kherson from the occupied left bank. Russian military struck the building of the humanitarian headquarters of the MVA and the surrounding area.

Throughout the past day, Russian troops also shelled other settlements in the Kherson region, including Kherson, Prydniprovsky, Novotyaginka, Veletenske, Komyshany, Kizomys, Antonivka, Tyaginka, Odradokamianka, Dudchany, Mykhailivka, Novokayiry, Osokorivka, and Lvove.
