Yellow Level of Danger in Kharkiv and Region

On April 3, a «yellow» level of danger has been announced in Kharkiv and the region, according to the State Emergency Service. It is expected that strong southwest winds will be observed in the region at night, reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s.

Danger Level Distribution:

Green — no danger, no messages needed.

Yellow — possible rain, thunderstorms, strong wind gusts, or sharp temperature changes.

Orange — increased risk of natural disasters: heavy rain, hail, heat, frost, snowfall, and blizzards.

Red — extreme weather events: hurricanes, heavy rain, very heavy snowfall, large hail, extreme fire danger with the possibility of major destruction and catastrophes.

Temperature Decrease Expected

In addition, a slight decrease in temperature is expected in Kharkiv. After record-breaking 24.5 degrees Celsius on March 31 and April 1, temperatures in the coming days are expected to be in the range of 12-18 degrees above zero.
