According to information posted on the club’s official website, Belarusian coach Alexander Khatskevich is leaving his post as head coach of Zaglebie in Sosnowiec, Poland. He will be replaced by local specialist Marek Saganowski.
Khatskevich joined Zaglebie in January, but was unable to improve the team’s performance. Under his leadership, Zaglebie suffered four defeats and played two draws in the Polish Division I.
Despite being brought in to improve the team’s position, Khatskevich’s methods of work caused discontent among the players, which became one of the reasons for his departure. Fans also expressed their dissatisfaction by attending a training session and showing their dissatisfaction with the team’s standings. A conflict reportedly escalated into a fight during the training session, although Khatskevich claims he did not receive any blows despite rumors of the incident.
