A gas explosion in Radiviliv injures an elderly woman
A gas explosion occurred in Radiviliv, resulting in injuries to an elderly woman. The incident took place yesterday at around 18:00 on Gagarin Street in the city of Radiviliv. Firefighters who arrived at the scene determined that an explosion of gas occurred in a summer kitchen without subsequent ignition.
Before the rescuers arrived, a woman born in 1942 was hospitalized to the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital with thermal burns to her head, face, both upper limbs, back, and abdomen.
As a result of the explosion, 1 m2 of the roof of an outbuilding was destroyed. The causes of the incident and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
