RBC-Ukraine reports that, according to the «Business Expectations of Ukrainian Enterprises» report from the National Bank for the first quarter of 2024, managers of Ukrainian enterprises are expected to see salary growth over the next 12 months.

However, respondents also indicated that the number of employees may decrease. Pessimism is particularly high among employees in the extractive industry, construction, energy, and water supply sectors. On the other hand, respondents from the trade sector have been predicting an increase in the number of employees for the fourth quarter in a row.
