The European Union Supports Ukraine Through Damage Registry Participation
The European Union has decided to change its status from an associated member to a participant in the Damage Registry for Ukraine, a key step in supporting the country in the context of Russian military aggression. The decision, taken today by the Council, reaffirms the EU’s commitment to compensating Ukraine for the damage caused and strengthens the financial stability of the Registry, including through mandatory financial contributions.
