Planned Power Outages in Kyiv and Kyiv Region Starting Earlier Today
Today, June 14, planned power outages in the power grids of Kyiv and Kyiv region will start 4 hours earlier — at 14:00 instead of 18:00, reported DTEK.
«Upon the instruction of Ukrenergo, the shutdown schedule will be implemented starting from 14:00 and will last until 22:00,» the announcement reads.
Ukrenergo explained that «the reason is the increase in consumption in the eastern regions and reduced operation of solar power plants in the western regions.»
It is worth noting that today, June 14, planned power outages in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and three other regions were supposed to be implemented from 18:00 to 22:00.
