The match between Dynamo and Polissya within the 25th round of the UPL not only attracted attention with a bright game at the home stadium of Kyivans, but also became a significant memorable event. The capital club, together with the «Tribune of Heroes» fund, dedicated this match to the memory of the deceased ultras of the blue and white team.
Tribute to Fallen Fans
The Dynamo fan movement suffered significant losses among the fallen fans in the war — 47 fans from Kyiv did not return home. The families of the fallen heroes were invited to this important match.
Remembering the Heroes
Dmytro Kukuruza, co-founder of the «Tribune of Heroes» fund, noted: «250 football fans have already died in the war, 47 of them are representatives of the Dynamo fan movement. These events are important to pay tribute and respect to the guys who will forever remain on the Tribune of Heroes. Equally important is the support for the families of the fallen soldiers. For them, such events are symbolic because they know that the feat of their loved ones is not forgotten, and there is always support nearby. We once again proved that the football family is a cohesive mechanism that has united for help, memory, and support.»
