Arrest Made in Khust District Village for Drug Possession
Police in the Khust district village have apprehended a 32-year-old local resident on suspicion of possessing drugs. During a search of the man’s residence, approximately 5 kg of cannabis was discovered, valued at an estimated 750,000 hryvnias on the black market. Additionally, marijuana seedlings were found on the property.
Authorities also seized cash amounting to 125,000 hryvnias in foreign and national currencies, along with plastic bags and electronic scales. All seized evidence has been forwarded to experts for examination.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention center and is facing charges under Article 309 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Police are further investigating the individual’s involvement in drug distribution.
