Digitization of Education in Dnipro
The process of digitalization of education in Dnipro continues, expanding available learning opportunities right on mobile devices. Last year, the information system «Digital Education of Dnipro» expanded its functionality and covered institutions of preschool education. Currently, this system is implementing student and staff accounting for secondary schools, offering important updates for both parents and teachers.
Update on School Staff Rooms
The leading specialist of the project and program management department at «eDnipro» Municipal Enterprise, Margarita Sorsoryan, announced at a briefing on February 6 an update of school staff rooms to simplify the work process in the educational information system. This will allow the creation of student tickets without the need for parents to fill out forms, eliminating this step through the independent compilation of student lists by responsible persons. In addition, rooms have been created for accounting for children and staff of preschool institutions, as well as for submitting electronic reporting to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
New Module in Testing Phase
Margarita also noted that a new module «Accounting for communal services» for schools and kindergartens is currently in the testing phase. This module will allow institutions to submit meter readings through the «Digital Education of Dnipro» system, and work is also ongoing on the creation of an electronic journal and diaries.
