Drug Trafficking Suspect Arrested in Pryluky
In Pryluky city in Chernihiv region, the police detained a 26-year-old resident of Sumy region suspected of drug trafficking through «drops».
During the arrest, over 100 packets of powdery substance resembling amphetamines, 12 packets of crystalline substance, and 18 packets of cannabis were found in the suspect’s car.
In addition, the suspect’s mobile phone contained correspondence with «clients» regarding the distribution of hidden small portions of drugs through «drops».
The seized substances have been sent for examination, and the suspect has been informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs), which carries a penalty of up to 12 years in prison.
