Conflict with a Neighbor: Threat with Grenade and Knife

Police Respond to Threatening Incident in Zaporizhzhia Region

Law enforcement officers in the Zaporizhzhia region were called to a residence following a report of a conflict between neighbors. A 47-year-old man had threatened his neighbor’s family with both a grenade and a knife, prompting the concerned woman to contact the authorities.

Upon arrival at the scene, police found the man in question with a knife in his possession. During the course of the interview, the man surrendered the weapon without resistance.

Meanwhile, at the woman’s apartment, it was discovered that her husband had managed to disarm the attacker of the grenade during the altercation.

Following the incident, an explosive ordnance disposal team and an investigative-operational group were called in to safely remove the dangerous items from the premises.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of prompt police intervention in threatening situations.
