According to RBC-Ukraine, citing the Desnyansky District TCSC and SP Facebook page, an incident occurred on April 6 at 11:50 a.m. during the work of a mobile notification group on Shalom Aleichem Street.
While talking to police officers, a man approached them from behind and struck one of the servicemen on the head. He then pulled out a knife from his bag and attempted to strike another serviceman who was nearby.
Law enforcement officers managed to keep the man at bay and called the police. The attacker was detained, the crime was documented, and physical evidence was seized.
Incidents at TCSCs
It is worth noting that incidents at TCSCs are not uncommon. Recently, in the village of Kosmach in Ivano-Frankivsk region, a mob tried to attack a woman who was sitting behind the wheel of a car, believing she was a «spy» for the TCSC. A man also attempted suicide on the premises of a TCSC in Zakarpattia region, prompting an investigation. There was also a scandal involving the head of a TCSC in Rivne region. Russian propaganda spread fake information about the Zhytomyr Regional Territorial Recruitment Center.
