Ukraine Implements Over 70 Models of UAVs Made In Ukraine

During the first six months of this year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has successfully codified and put into operation over 70 models of unmanned aerial complexes (UAVs), all of which are made in Ukraine. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Active Development in Ukrainian Defense Industry

Compared to the previous year, when around 60 varieties of UAVs were approved, this indicator indicates an active development of the Ukrainian defense industry.

Varied Tasks for UAVs

UAVs perform a variety of tasks, from reconnaissance of enemy positions at the front line to adjusting artillery fire and strikes on enemy vehicles and fortifications.

Prioritizing New Developments

The new developments have become a priority for the Ukrainian defense sector, confirming a high level of production and technical control. According to information from the Main Department of Armament and Military Equipment Life Cycle Support, the process of obtaining a NATO stock number for new models has been significantly simplified and now takes up to 10 days.

Equipping the Army with Modern Equipment

These new achievements in the Ukrainian defense industry allow the army to be equipped with modern and effective military equipment at the expense of the state budget.
