Successful Extinguishing of Fire in Borutyne Village
Yesterday, on July 1st, in the village of Borutyne in Ovruch region, rescuers together with foresters successfully extinguished a massive fire. As a result of the incident, a house, four outbuildings, and a significant area of dry vegetation were affected.
Despite the threat of the fire spreading to the forest and other buildings, serious consequences were avoided. The village of Borutyne officially ceased to exist in 2009, however, several people still reside there. The fire caused only material damages, with no injuries among people.
Rescuers expressed their gratitude to the forestry workers for their significant assistance in extinguishing the fire.
