Arrest Made After Attack on Military Personnel in Lutsk
Police in Volyn region quickly apprehended the person who attacked military personnel at the Territorial Recruitment Center in Lutsk. The incident occurred on the morning of June 21 in the village of Lipyny in the Lutsk district. One of the attackers, refusing to provide documents for verification, used a pepper spray against the center’s employees.
Legal Action Taken
Law enforcement officials have classified this act under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional infliction of minor bodily harm to a law enforcement officer. The sanction provided for by this article involves imprisonment for up to five years.
Rejection of Violence Against Military Personnel
Earlier, the Volyn Regional Territorial Recruitment Center and the Security Service reported the incident, emphasizing that an attack on military personnel who participated in the ATO and fought against the occupiers is unacceptable.
