An explosion occurred at an ammunition depot in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, resulting in injuries to seven military personnel. The incident took place at a camp of Russian troops near the village of Gremuchiy in the Ivnyansky district. The injured were hospitalized with varying degrees of severity.

The village of Gremuchiy is located about 39 kilometers north of Belgorod, and the depot where the explosion occurred was over 63 kilometers away.
«The preliminary cause of the incident is careless handling of ammunition,» Astra adds.
