Yegor Golub on Preparing for the Fight
Yegor Golub, the coach of WBO lightweight champion, Ukrainian Denis Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KO), shared his thoughts on preparing for the upcoming fight.
«I understand that Denis had few believers, few in our team believed, and there are reasons for that. Yes, Berinchyk is already at a mature age for a boxer, yes, I am still a very young coach, yes, Navarrete was a champion in three weight classes and the clear favorite in all bookmakers’ odds, but I believe that with proper preparation we can achieve incredible things. We are just guys from DVR3 who dreamed, worked hard, and reached their goal. I am convinced that Berinchyk deserves the title of world champion, and I am ready to prepare him for this historic achievement. Dream. Work. Everything is possible,» Golub said.
