Update on Housing Subsidies and Benefits for Residents of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Combat Zones
Attention to all recipients of housing subsidies and benefits who resided in temporarily occupied territories or active combat zones in 2022! It is mandatory to submit an application to ensure the continuation of receiving payments. Starting from June 2024, the standard procedure for determining and paying housing subsidies and benefits will be reinstated, as per the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’s resolution No. 215.
As per the instructions from the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU), individuals eligible for payments under Resolution No. 215 are required to submit relevant documents to the respective PFU authorities to continue receiving payments.
The PFU has set specific criteria to determine the eligibility for continued payments, including the receipt of housing subsidies or benefits at the time of application, status as a recipient at the beginning of the Russian Federation’s aggression on February 24, 2022, residency in occupied territories or combat zones, and no prior appeals for subsidy or benefit reassignment since the aggression began. Make sure to meet these criteria for uninterrupted payments.
