Kyiv police arrest man for attacking security guard at supermarket
Kyiv police have arrested a man who attacked a supermarket security guard in the Solomianskyi district. The incident occurred after the intoxicated visitor made a remark to the guard, then returned with a metal bat an hour later and struck the guard before fleeing.
The victim was diagnosed with an open head injury and a concussion by medical professionals. The attacker, a 52-year-old man from Donetsk Oblast, faces up to 8 years in prison for this crime.
