The Lviv City Council has handed over more than 1,500 FPV drones to paratroopers, which were purchased with funds from the city budget. This information was made public by the Lviv City Council.
As part of the «Leo’s Revenge» initiative, 24.4 million UAH was allocated from the city budget for the purchase of these drones. Recently, the city also allocated 16 million UAH to support defenders, which includes the purchase of drones and grants to military units.
In total, in the first quarter of 2024, Lviv supported the army with nearly 195 million UAH. The budget of the Lviv City territorial community for the current year provides for the allocation of 1 billion UAH for the purchase of equipment and necessary materials for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
