Tragedy at Kyiv Funicular Station: Minor Boy Killed in Conflict with Law Enforcement Officer
According to information from the Main Investigation Bureau, a young boy was killed as a result of the actions of a man who works as a driver in a law enforcement agency.
Employees of the Main Investigation Bureau have opened a criminal case in connection with the tragedy at the funicular station in Kyiv. As a result of the incident, a minor boy was killed. This was reported by the GBR press service.
In particular, it is noted that on April 7, a conflict arose between a man who works as a driver in a law enforcement agency and a minor at the station of the capital’s funicular.
«After exiting the car at the upper station, the law enforcement officer pushed the teenager. He fell, hitting his head on the glass and receiving a fatal neck cut. The minor died at the scene,» the statement said. The GBR reported that the detained law enforcement officer has already been suspended from performing his duties.
«Currently, a full range of operational and investigative actions is being carried out, and the issue of notifying the detained law enforcement officer of suspicion of murder (part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being resolved,» the bureau said.
