Mayor of Kharkiv: No Need for Evacuation
Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov stated in an interview with «LIGA.net» that there is currently no need to evacuate residents from the city, emphasizing that any statements about it are part of the Russian information-psychological operation (IPSO).
He noted that evacuation is only ongoing where military actions continue, and added that currently about 1.3 million people live in Kharkiv.
Terekhov is confident that the lack of grounds for evacuation from Kharkiv is a result of Russia’s attempts to intimidate and cause anxiety among the city’s residents.
