A representative of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, announced during the telethon «Joint News» about a new strike by Russia on the Kharkiv region around 10:30 in the morning, as a result of which public infrastructure was damaged again.
«The strikes were carried out in the area of the Lyubotynska community of the Kharkiv district. And again — the target was public infrastructure. At the moment, we are not naming specific objects. According to our data, there are no casualties in this direction at the moment. But we still need to conduct checks. Moreover, there is a threat of a new strike,»
he commented.
Synegubov reminded that yesterday night the enemy struck at the public infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv, resulting in destruction of infrastructure, residential buildings, and casualties among the enemy.
The head of the Regional State Administration noted that work is underway to restore electricity supply in the city and region, but he refused to give specific timelines. According to him, the plan is to supply consumers of the Kharkiv region with electricity from adjacent regions.
«We are very careful about the restoration timelines. Because the enemy is watching us. Therefore, we always say: people, you will practically see the light at your home directly. We can say that indeed, to stabilize the situation, we are implementing schedules of power outages. We are trying to shorten the period when people do not have electricity at home. However, it is quite difficult, as the energy-generating enterprises that we had in the region are very severely damaged. Right now, we are working to receive electricity from neighboring, adjacent regions. However, this is quite difficult. We have to restart both industry and urban transport. And now we practically have a deficit of electricity from 100 to 200 megawatts in the region, including the city of Kharkiv,»
