British Intelligence Concerned About Russia’s Plan to Reinstate A-50 Aircraft
British intelligence has expressed concern over Russia’s reported intentions to bring back previously decommissioned long-range radar detection and control aircraft A-50. Following the loss of the second A-50, Russia halted their flights and will continue to do so until internal investigations are concluded regarding the security of these aircraft.
The Ministry of Defence of Great Britain has warned that Russia may need to take more drastic measures, such as re-profiling aircraft and assuming greater risks, to ensure effective air support for enemy ground forces. Additionally, it has been revealed that Rostec is planning to resume the production of A-50 aircraft in the near future.
