Recently, Russian Su fighters have been falling in Ukraine massively, shot down by precise hits of unknown weapons.
February’s victories:
On February 17, the Air Force destroyed three Russian aircraft — two Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter; on February 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces «landed» a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the east; on February 19, the commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down two more Russian planes in the east; another Su-34 was «landed» by the military on February 21; two more Su-34s were shot down on February 27.
February 29 surprise:
And on February 29, the last day of this harsh winter, while Kremlin dictator Putin was addressing his Federal Assembly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent three more «Sukhoi» fighters to their ancestors.
Ukrainian response:
According to Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have weapons capable of reaching enemy aircraft at a great distance.
«It is time to draw conclusions that there is no point in flying here in our airspace, terrorizing our population, striking with guided bombs, missiles of various types. Of course, such a large percentage of damage is due to the activity of the enemy aviation. Also, because we have certain weapons with which we can reach them in one direction or another and at a great distance,» emphasized the Air Force spokesman on the Front Line program.
He also noted that enemy aircraft have been and continue to operate without approaching close to the line of the conflict. However, they can expect «surprises» even at long approaches.
