A discovery in the desert
A nearly entire enemy kamikaze drone of the «Shahed» type was discovered in the desert near one of the villages of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Ukrainian air defense forces managed to block this drone, which was recently launched by opponents against civilian infrastructure objects in Ukraine. The police of the Dnipropetrovsk region reported this on Friday morning, February 9.
A stroke of luck
The drone was found by bomb disposal experts, who described finding the «Shahed» drone in its entirety as «a stroke of luck.» They confirmed that the combat part of the drone was not explosive, with all its components still intact.
Next steps
«The next step is to carefully remove the combat part and destroy it. The drone device itself will be disassembled and analyzed by experts,» the police quoted the bomb disposal experts.
