Olympic silver medalist of 2020, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak, will not be able to participate in the Istvan Bocskai Memorial due to an injury.
This was announced by the Ukrainian Boxing Federation.
«It has been decided by the coaching staff that Oleksandr will not travel to Hungary and will continue his preparation for the Olympic Games in Ukraine.
In addition, the captain of the men’s team, Dmytro Zamotaev, also did not travel to Hungary due to a cold,» the statement said.
The Istvan Bocskai Memorial will take place from January 15 to 22 in the city of Debrecen, Hungary.
