This year Lviv is celebrating an important event
This year Lviv is celebrating the 34th anniversary of an important event — the raising of the Ukrainian national flag over the City Hall. The city has planned celebrations that will take place on Wednesday, April 3.
Join the Festive Events
The festive events will start at 12:30 at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul of the UGCC with a joint prayer and the blessing of the State flag. Then the participants will march to the City Hall with the blessed flag unfolded. To the sound of the National Anthem of Ukraine, the deputies of the 1st democratic convocation and modern deputies will raise the national flag on the tower of the City Hall.
Honor the Fallen Heroes
There will also be a moment of silence to honor the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. The ceremonies will be accompanied by musical performances by a military orchestra and the choir «Homin» at the Market Square.
Tribute to the Memory
After the ceremonies, a tribute to the memory of the deputies of the 1st democratic convocation will solemnly take place at the Lychakiv Cemetery, including Bogdan Kotyk, Vasyl Shpycer, and Stefania Shabatura.
